ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMIT
Service Description: The issuance of building permit is applicable to all construction of buildings either residential , commercial and industrial buildings within the jurisdiction of Tuba. These comprises the electrical permit, sanitary/plumbing permit, certificate of zoning compliance, endorsement from the local fire chief and mechanical permit.Name of Office and Specific Address, Tel. Requirements:
I. a. In case the applicant is registered owner of the lot;
1. Certified true copy of title – Xerox 5 copies
b. In case the lot owner is awarded but not yet titled/public land being applied for:
1. Certified true copy of Certificate of Allocation and/or award is still valid; or
2. Certification from CENRO, DENR that the applicant is authorized to enter, occupy and introduce improvement over the lot, copy of the provisional permit issued by the DENR and Certification from the Courts (RTC and MTCC) that there are no pending cases on the lot.
c. In case the applicant is not registered owner of the lot : (In addition to ‘A’ of the above)
1. Duly notarized copy of contract of lease, or
2. Duly notarized copy of deed of sale, or
3. Duly notarized copy of contract o sale
4. Duly notarized of the authorization from the registered owner
II. Xerox copy of Tax Declaration – Xerox for 5 copies
III. Xerox copy of the Real Property Tax Receipt or Certificate of Non Tax Delinquency from the Municipal Treasury Office for the current year – Xerox 5 for copies
IV. Building plans duly signed and sealed by Civil Engineers/Architect; Sanitary Engineer/Master Plumber for Sanitary/Plumbing Plans and Electrical Engineer/Master Electrician for Electrical Plans, Mechanical Engineer for Mechanical Plans and Structural Engineer for Structural Plans.
V. Structural Design Computation for Building with a floor area of 20 sq.m. or more and Seismic Analysis for Building of two storeys or over – Xerox for 5 copies.
VI. Soil analysis for concrete and commercial buildings of 3 storeys and over and all buildings 4 storey and above. – Xerox for 5 copies.
VII. Building Specifications duly signed and sealed by Engineer/Architect – Xerox for 5 copies.
VIII. Bill of Materials and Cost Estimates duly signed and sealed by Engineer/Architect – Xerox for 5 copies.
IX. Xerox copy of updated Professional Tax Receipt and Professional Regulations Commission Identification of all signatory engineers to the Application forms and plans.
X. Duly accomplished application forms for building, sanitary/plumbing, electrical and mechanical permits.
XI. Zoning Compliance Certificate to be issued by the Zoning Officer.
XII. Construction Board.
XIII. Barangay Clearance/Certification – Xerox for 5 copies.

ISSUANCE OF THE OCCUPANCY PERMIT
Service Description : The issuance of the Occupancy permit is for all individuals who has already a building permit and had completed/finished their construction of their buildings.

Provision of Technical and Monitoring Services in the Implementation of Infrastructure Development and Public Works Projects.

- Service Description: Provision of technical and monitoring services in the implementation and development of all infrastructure and public projects is the core service of the Municipal Engineering Office. Basically, the service is compose of the following steps:
- 1. Engineering Investigation (Pre-inspection)
The ocular inspection of the site is done to obtain all useful technical data in preparing the Program of Works and Plans of the project.

- 2. Preparation of Plans and Specifications
The job contains the plans and specifications of the structure.

- 3.Preparation of program of works and Detailed Estimates.
The process contains the estimates of materials to be used as well as the required equipments and labor. The end result of steps 1 to 3 is forwarded to the Bids and Awards committee for bidding.
- 4.Consolidate all the documents processed by the Bids and Awards Committee and prepares the Contract and Notice to Proceed.
- 5.Conduct supervision and monitoring.
This is conducted during the progress of the project.
- 6.Prepare request of final/post inspection addressed to the Inspection Team and the COA as requested by the Contractor.
- 7.Conduct Post Inspection and assist the Inspection Team in the post/final inspection of the project.
The members of the Inspection Team are mandated to make their reports regarding the inspected project and forms part in the final payment of the project.
- 8.Prepare report and statement of work accomplishment of the project.
- 9.Consolidate all supporting documents of the contract together with the report of the Inspection Team for payment.
