A total of 713 rice and corn farmers and fisherfolk from the Municipality of Tuba received financial assistance under the Presidential Assistance for Farmers and Fisherfolk Program (PAFFP) on June 3, 2026, at the Municipal Ground, Poblacion, Tuba, Benguet.
The assistance forms part of the national government’s support measures to help farmers and fisherfolk cope with the effects of rising fuel costs and other production and transportation expenses that affect the agriculture and fisheries sectors.
The payout activity was facilitated by the Department of Agriculture–Cordillera Administrative Region (DA-CAR) in coordination with the Tuba Office of the Municipal Agriculturist.
