In celebration of the 2026 Philippine Arbor Day with the theme “Luntiang Bukas”, Municipal Ordinance No. 543 Series of 2025 declaring every Thursday and Friday of the fourth week of June as Arbor Day in the municipality of Tuba, Environment Month Celebration, and to enhance environmental protection and to promote sustainable forest management through community-engaged reforestation activities, the Municipality of Tuba through its Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) conducted a collaborative Tree Caring and Tree Planting Activity on June 24 and 25, 2026 at NHA Tadiangan, Tuba, Benguet.
The activity was actively participated by the municipal employees and officials, national line agencies from Tuba PNP, BJMP and BFP, and CSOs from Rural Improvement Club. The annual activity is part of our ongoing commitment to work together for environment preservation and reforestation efforts.
