The Municipality of Tuba joins the nation in celebrating Women’s Month this March 2025, highlighting the vital role of women in society and advocating for gender empowerment and equality.
March 7, 2025 – Women’s Summit at the Tuba Youth Sports Center
As part of the “Serbisyo para kay Juana” initiative, the LGU will offer free services to women at the Tuba Youth Sports Center (TYSC), including:

MCR-certified documents
Health Services
Agricultural Services
Mayor Clarita P. Sal-ongan announced that the LGU will offer free services to women on March 7, 2025, as part of the “Serbisyo para kay Juana.”
In line with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) directive, private establishments are also encouraged to show appreciation to women and girls by offering freebies, discounts, priority lanes, and other special promotions on March 8 (International Women’s Day) and throughout the month.
March 19-20, 2025 – Women’s Month Seminar
A Seminar on Gender and Development (GAD) Fair Language, alongside discussions on mental and spiritual well-being, will be held for municipal officials and employees to strengthen their advocacy for gender empowerment and equality.
Memo Order No. 047-02-2025 – ‘Purple Wednesdays’
Municipal officials and employees will wear purple every Wednesday throughout March as a symbol of commitment to women’s empowerment and gender equality.
Serbisyo para Juana – Priority Lanes for Women
All municipal offices will designate priority lanes for women throughout the month of March, ensuring better access to government services.
